Manufactured in Hartford circa 1858-1862. Marked "F. REUTHE's PATENT" on the rib with a dual barbed arrow bait hook/trigger assembly and a short conventional trigger.

Fair with a brown patina and pitting overall. Mechanically fair.

As "A" with address and patent date markings on the barrels, a 6 1/4 inch long suspension bar, and a thick leather thong.

Fair with a brown patina and pitting, one of the trap barbs is absent and the other is jammed. Thong shows light cracking, otherwise fair.
