Measuring 13 1/2 inches overall, with an 8 1/4 inch blade fitted with a gilt bronze collar. Round gilt brass tsuba, with a textured pattern of engraving. Both the hilt and sheath are virtually covered in high quality multi colored cloisonne enamel, with the tip of each lacquered deep red bordering on black with floral patterns, and the top and bottom edged in yellow with multi-colored "propeller" designs. The sides of the grips are red, with dot accents and butterflies in the traditional menuki positions, and the sheath is green and yellow, with floral vinework and mitsu tomoe symbols. A golden cloth cord with tassles is included.

Rating Definition:

The blade is fair. The cloisonne is very fine, with some mild chipping and repair at the tip. Colors are very vivid and the borders sharp.
