Description:

Manufactured in 1900. The top of the factory replacement barrel has the one line Hartford address with "(BISLEY MODEL) 32 W.C.F." on the left side and the two line, three patent dates are marked on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard and back strap with the assembly number "11" on the loading gate. The right forward trigger now has the "question mark" style factory refurbish (rework) mark. Blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer, blade front and frame notch rear sights, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top. Colt manufactured approximately 44,350 Bisley revolvers from 1894 to 1915.

Rating Definition:

Very good as factory rebarreled. The revolver retains 70% original blue finish with muzzle wear and some thinning on the barrel, edge wear and a mix of thin original blue finish and smooth gray patina on the cylinder, and a smooth brownish gray patina on the grip straps. The trigger guard is a mix of thin original blue and smooth gray patina. The hammer has been refinished and retains almost all of the bright case colors. The grips have faded to brown and remain very good with a few minor dings and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
