Measuring 37 inches tall, with a spike bottom, a hooked top, adjustable striker plate, sliding weight, retention hook and a sliding cannon assembly. Holes for tripwire placement are present in the shaft. On activation, the cannon assembly drops onto the striker plate to fire the device.

Fair, with a brown patina and pitting overall. Notes from the consignor state that a piece is absent, but functionality appears unaffected.

Measuring 7 inches overall, with a downward-vented barrel marked "MADE IN FRANCE" on the right and "DANGER-FOR BLANK/CARTRIDGES ONLY" on the left. With a pull ring for cocking the striker, and a small trigger stud with a hole for mounting a tripwire and a pair of holes in the triangular base for securing the device to the ground.

Good, with some paint loss and a mixed brown patina. Mechanically very good.
