Description:

Standard "byf/44" slide marking, "Eagle/WaA135" proofs are present, ribbed grips and "P.38v" marked magazine with an "Eagle/WaA135" proof on the spine. Visible serial numbers match. Note that the serial number falls into the first serial number block used during Mauser's second alphabet run after the first alphabet run, which was initiated in January 1943, was completed at serial 9999z. After the first alphabet run was completed the serials reverted to 1.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with the grip strap a smooth brown patina. The grips are fine with a repaired chip on the right panel and a few minor handling marks.
