Manufactured by the French after the Mauser factory was captured at the end of WWII. All phosphate finish with the left side of the slide having the "SVW/45" marking and the right side having the French star proof. The visible "k" block serial numbers are matching. Fitted with ribbed steel grips. Collectors refer to this P38 variant as the "Gray Ghost". Magazine is marked "jvd" and "P38/U."

Excellent. The pistol retains 97% plus arsenal phosphate finish showing some minor thinning on the front grip strap and some mild edge wear. The grips are excellent with some gray on the high edges. Mechanically excellent.
