Description:

1) SA/SS Standard Bearer's Gorget. Nickel finished body, 4 7/8 inches wide and 5 inches long, with brass button heads in the upper corners and a silver finished brass eagle with a sunwheel swastika in a wreath on top of a gilt brass sunburst. A blue felt lining is applied to the back, along with a stamped RZM badge. Chain not included. 2) Flag-Bearers Gorget from the Deutscher Reichskriegerbund Kyffhauser. An evolution of the Deutscher Kriegerbund, the Reichskriegerbund "Kyffhauser" (Reich Warrior's League, Kyffhauser) was made the sole veterans affairs organization in Nazi Germany from 1933 to March 1943, when Hitler disbanded the organization, reportedly due to the failure in Stalingrad. Nickel finished alloy body, 6 1/4 inches wide, with gold accented brass buttons in the corners and an array of flags and an oak wreath around the enamel Kyffhauser shield. On the back, the left side chain hook is marked "2". Chain not included.

Rating Definition:

1) Very fine, with a strong gilt finish, well aged silver, and a deep aged patina on the exposed brass. The liner is starting to separate from the metal, with minor stains. 2) Very good, with some mild wear and handling marks on the front. One of the threaded studs that secures the stand of flags is absent from the back.
