Description:

Manufactured from 1868 to 1881. The top of the barrel rib is marked with the one line address and patent dates and the matching serial number is marked on the butt and stamped on the inside of the right grip panel. The matching assembly number "G9" is marked on the frame under the grip, front face of the cylinder and on the back of the barrel lug. Blue finish with casehardened hammer, trigger and ejector, blade front and notch rear sights, and fitted with smooth varnished rosewood grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 90% original blue finish with some scattered minor flaking and some minor spotting on the back strap. Most of the original case colors remain on the hammer, while the ejector and trigger have a smooth gray patina. The grips are excellent with 97% original varnish remaining, showing some high edge wear and a few light handling marks. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
