Description:

Blade and notch sights, with "1911" on the chamber and the "DWM" monogram on the toggle. Full serial number on the frame (with "e" suffix) and barrel, with the partial serial number "66" on the takedown latch, side plate, sear, safety, trigger, toggles, breechblock and firing pin. Properly marked safety position and extractor with "B.3.A.F.1.16." (Regiment B3, Foot Artillery, Regiment One, Weapon 16) on the front strap. Straw colored small parts, checkered grips, and nickel wood base magazine numbered "3072/e". With a brown leather flap holster, stamped "K.B.A.G/1911." in ink and a faint 1914 makers stamp inside the flap.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing light handling marks and edge wear overall. The straw colors are 85% intact, as is the niter blue on the springs and screws. Grips are very fine, with mild pressure dents and sharp checkering. Holster is good, with scratches and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
