This is an excellent example of a late production Model 1930 commercial production Broomhandle Mauser pistol. These pistols were the last of the Mauser Broomhandle pistol before adoption of the P08 Luger pistol. These pistols have the reinforced chamber, are high polished finish, and lack of numbering of all the exposed parts. The top of the chamber area is marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N" and on the left side it is marked with a single Crown/U proofmark with an additional Crown/U proof is marked on top of the rear section of the breech bolt. The right side rear frame is marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A. NECKAR/D.R.P.U.A.P." with the Mauser Banner logo on the left. It has the standard inverted "V" fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight graduated from 50-1000 meters. The late style walnut grips with 12 grooves on each side with a lanyard loop and ring on the bottom of the butt.

Excellent with 95% plus of the original blue finish overall with edge and high spot wear with a slightly larger area of blue loss on the front of the magazine well and very minor pin-prick pitting on the underside of the barrel. The grips are in excellent condition with only one very minor handling mark on the right side. An excellent high condition Model 1930 Commercial Broomhandle Mauser pistol.
