Manufactured in 1957 in the rare .358 Winchester, a caliber cataloged from 1955-1958. Hooded ramp front sight, adjustable folding leaf rear sight and receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting. Jeweled follower, bolt and extractor with bolt numbered to the gun. Late type safety, hollow bolt knob, straight receiver tang and hinged floor plate. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech and "-SUPER GRADE-" on the floor plate. The high comb, select walnut pistol grip stock features multi-point checkering, quick release sling swivels, ebony forend tip, grip cap, cheekpiece and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains 95% plus original dull blue finish showing minor thinning on the floor plate and the bolt knob having a smooth brown-gray patina with a small patch of light pitting. The top of the receiver shows a couple of scope mount marks. The refinished stock is very fine with some very scattered minor pressure dents. The checkering is crisp.
