Manufactured in 1936. Single ivory bead sight on the matte solid rib, chambered for 3 inch shells and choked full. The barrel has the standard markings including the oval Winchester proof on top of the receiver and off set on the left side of the barrel at the breech. Mounted with a checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a diamond pattern in the pistol grip stock with a checkered hard rubber factory buttplate. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 95% plus original blue finish remaining with some light wear on the muzzle, and normal cycling wear on the sides of the barrel, magazine tube and slide bar. There are a few light scratches and some edge wear on the receiver. The wood is excellent. There is a small area on the left wrist that has some light scratches, otherwise only minimal light handling marks and sharp checkering. An extremely nice pre-war model 42 with highly desirable deluxe features.
