This is a beautiful matched pair of consecutively serial numbered Orvis Custom shotguns. Each shotgun is marked in gold inlaid "1" and "2" on the breech end of the rib, on the forend insert and on the break lever. The locks, frame, break lever, trigger guard and forearm hardware are engraved with floral designs. The trigger guard is monogrammed "WMD" in gold and the lower tang is engraved "Mo215. Single bead sight on the concave matte solid rib with geometric engraved band around the breech ends. The top of the right barrel is engraved ORVIS CUSTOM/MANCHESTER, VT," followed by "UNION ARMERA/S.L. SPAIN" and the top of the left barrel "ORVIS 12 GAUGE, 2 3/4 IN. CHAM.". The water table and barrel flats are jeweled and marked with various Spanish proof marks and the matching serial number. 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked improved modified/improved modified with ejectors. Double triggers, removable side locks, cocking indicators, tang mounted manual safety with gold "S" and mounted with 2x fancy multi-point checkered walnut forearm and straight grip stock with tear drop flats and leather recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 5/8 inches. The pair come in a leather bound hard takedown case with brass corner protectors, leather straps and handle, and green felt lining.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% original blue finish and virtually all of the original casehardened finish with a few minor scratches and scuffs on the barrels. The wood is also excellent with a few minor dings, handling marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent.
