This is a fine example of a meticulously crafted and highly finished Libero Ferraglio shotgun. Started in 1964, Libero Ferraglio manufactures handcrafted shotguns with an annual output of twenty to thirty guns. This 28 gauge shotgun features a single bead front sight on a matte solid rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked cylinder/modified, and ejectors. The left barrel is stamped "LIBERO FERRAGLIO FERLIB ITALY" and both barrels are proofed on the flats. The scalloped box lock action features engraved tight scrollwork and bouquets. The scrollwork extends to the break lever and trigger guard with a floral engraved pattern on a punch dot background featured on the fences and action sides. Equipped with double triggers and a tang mounted manual safety. Mounted with a nicely figured triple x fancy English walnut straight grip stock with extra fine line checkering on wrist and forearm, blank initial oval and checkered bare butt. The length of pull is 13 3/4 inches. Comes with a leather bound takedown case lined with wine colored velvet with a Ferraglio leather label sewn to the inside of the lid. Included are a silicone gun cloth, two screwdrivers, ejector tool, and three piece cleaning rod with attachments.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% plus original blue and coin finish showing only light handling/storage marks. The wood is also excellent with a few light handling marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent showing some cracking and wear on the straps.
