Manufactured in 1905 and subsequently professionally custom embellished. The barrel has the one line Hartford address on top and "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on the left side. A scroll and punch dot engraving surrounds the barrel markings with wedges of scrollwork on the barrel sides at the muzzle. The frame has the two line, three patent dates marking with a Rampant Colt and features the engraved scrollwork on the sides, a fan pattern on the recoil shield and loading gate, and a wavy line and dot pattern on the top strap. The cylinder features an alternating engraved pattern on the chambers (scroll pattern and starburst pattern) with a wavy line and dot pattern at the rear. The top of the back strap has a fan engraved pattern with wedges of scrollwork. The hammer sides, ejector rod housing and trigger guard are also engraved. Matching numbers on frame and grip straps with assembly number "3325" on loading gate. Fitted with smooth pearl grips.

Very fine as professionally custom embellished. The revolver retains 99% plus of the nickel finish with a light cylinder drag line. The grips are undersized at the top of the back strap otherwise very fine with a couple hairline cracks and an attractive color. Mechanically fine.
