Third Issue manufactured in 1974. Floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the barrel, cylinder flats, frame and trigger guard. Standard two line address on the right side of the barrel, "DETECTIVE SPEC./38 SPECIAL CTG." on the left side and the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. Fixed ramp front and frame notch rear sights, and fitted with checkered Pachmayr Compac rubber grips with gold Colt medallions. No factory letter at time of description, but engraving is factory done. Complete in a Colt walnut case with wine colored fitted velvet lining.

Near new with a light drag line and a couple small minor marks on the front edge of the cylinder. The grips are as new. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. The action is excellent. The case is excellent with a few minor dings on the exterior.

Near new with a very light cylinder drag line and some slight handling marks. The grips are as new. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
