This example was manufactured in 1920 and has the standard patent and address markings on the left side of the slide with the Rampant Colt behind the slide serrations. The caliber marking is on the right side of the slide. The left side of the frame is stamped with the serial number and there is a small "1" over the "VP" triangle proof on the trigger guard shoulder. The right trigger guard shoulder is stamped "48". Fitted with a pair of checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in a banner at the top and the Rampant Colt in a circle at the center.

Rating Definition:

Very fine 90% plus original blue finish overall with some minor high edge and muzzle wear along with some minor spotting on the left side of the frame and slide. Right forward side of slide has spot of cold blue applied. There are some scattered minor scratches and a minor ding on the left side of the magazine well. The casehardened hammer and sling swivel retain much of the original bright case colors. The grips are also excellent with a couple small marks. Mechanically excellent.
