Manufactured in 1943. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block Colt address and patent markings on the left side of the matching serialized slide, "P" on top and a "W.B." inspected frame with "R/VP" and "40" marked trigger guard. Fitted with a milled trigger, wide hammer, checkered magazine release, slide catch and thumb safety, long grip safety, checkered arched mainspring housing and checkered walnut grips.

Very fine, with 95% of the arsenal parkerized finish, showing some minor edge wear and spotting overall. Grips are good replacements, with mild dents and a few spots of verdigris. Mechanically excellent.
