This example was manufactured in late 1944. The barrel has a "W" stamped behind the front sight base and there is a "W/P" proofmark just in front of the 3rd Type barrel band/bayonet lug. Has an angled slide face, a round bolt, a rotary safety and a modified magazine release. The rear sight dovetail has a case M3 scope mount with pistol grip attachment. The trigger guard and recoil plate are stamped with a "W". The low wood walnut pistol grip stock has a boxed "S.A./S.H.M" cartouche on the left wrist, a crossed cannons cartouche just behind it and a checkered steel buttplate. With a detachable flash hider, two batteries and black rubberized backpack. The scope, infrared lamp and powerpack are not included.

Arsenal refurbished, 98% of the olive green parkerized finish remains with some high edge wear and some scattered scratches and rub marks. The scope mount retains 95% original parkerized finish with some high edge wear, some scope ring wear and scattered minor scratches and rub marks. The sanded stock is very good with only scattered minor scratches and slightly faint cartouches. The hand guard has a slot cut to attach the scope mount to the barrel. Mechanically fine. The backpack is very good and the batteries appear to be very good but are dry and untested.
