Produced in Belgium, the LAR was imported in limited numbers before being discontinued in 1988. The right side of the receiver is roll-stamped "FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL/MADE IN BELGIUM" above the importer's marking "GUN SOUTH, INC. BIRMINGHAM, AL.", and the left is marked ".308 MATCH". Matching number is present on top of the bolt carrier. Smooth ventilated forearm, pistol grip, and buttstock. With an extra magazine and a manual.

Excellent, with 95% of the original black finish, showing minor handling marks and scratches on the metal and on the stock. Mechanically excellent.
