Manufactured in 1903. Blade front and military style folding leaf rear sights, with two line address and patent markings, caliber marking behind the rear sight, and three barrel bands. Casehardened hammer and lever, with "44 CAL." on the elevator, "-Model. 1873.-" on the top strap and an integral dust cover rail. Smooth straight grip stock with sling swivels and a smooth butt with storage compartment, containing a 5-piece cleaning rod. With an unmarked socket bayonet, 21 inches overall with an 18 inch triangular spike.

Excellent with 97% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown spotting, a few dents on the barrel, mild edge wear and handling marks. The stock is very fine with some dents, scuffs and dark spots. The bayonet shows light spotting. Mechanically excellent.
