Manufactured from 1863 to the 1870s with a total production of approximately 7,500. The top of the barrel cluster is marked MANUFACTURED BY E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, N.Y./ELLIOT'S PATENTS MAY 29, 1860-OCT. 1,1861". The frame is numbered "9202" and the barrels "12647". Brass post front and frame notch rear sights, nickel frame, niter blue screw heads and blue barrel and trigger. Fitted with smooth ivory grips.

Very fine as assembled and refinished. The barrels retains 98% bright high polish blue finish with some edge wear. The trigger retains 40% original blue finish with a smooth silver gray patina on the balance. The frame retains 99% nickel finish. Most of the original niter blue remains on the screw heads. The grips are also very fine with a few very small hairline age cracks around the escutcheons, a mellow patina and attractive grain. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is fine.
