Description:

Light floral scroll engraving on the frame sides, buttcap and trigger guard with a geometric design on the upper and lower sides of the frame. The back strap is marked "D. EGG, LONDON" and each cylinder flute is marked with a Birmingham proof mark. The barrel and trigger guard are blue and the frame and hammer casehardened. Fitted with checkered two-piece walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrels retain 50% original blue finish with a smooth dark patina on the balance. The trigger guard retains most of the blue finish on the protected inner side with a minor pitted gray patina on the outer area. The frame has a mottled grayish patina with some minor pitting on the grip straps. The hammer has a smooth gray patina with some original dark case colors on the left side. The grips are very fine with a few minor handling marks and sharp checkering. The action is fine.
