The German silver barrel has two British proofs stamped on the upper left flat. The 3 1/4 inch blade and 2 1/4 inch blade are marked "JAMES/RODGERS/SHEFFIELD" on the left ricasso. The pistol and knives are enclosed in a German silver casing with stag scales secured by rivets. The back strap has a compartment and there are provisions for tools on the sides near the butt (a pair of German silver tongs are included with the other compartment empty). Fine. Most of the German silver remains. The iron components have a mottled gray patina with some mild pitting on the blades. The scales are very fine with a couple small hairline stress cracks. The stag has an attractive color. Mechanically fine.
