Single bead sight, with "GAULOIS" and the Manufacture Francaise proof on the barrel, "CAL./8m/m" over the chamber, "No./1" on the dust cover and the full company marking "MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE/ SAINT-ETIENNE" in a circle surrounding "ARMES/ET/CYCLES" at the rear of the frame. Two position safety marked "SURETE" and "FEU" and the lower left side is marked "DECHARGEMENT/ET/DEMONTAGE" in a rectangle. Nickel finish and casehardened plunger with a hard rubber checkered grip panel. Complete with a cigarette style hard leather pouch with a ten round compartment on one end and compartment for the pistol on the other, marked with the double circle manufacturer's logo embossed in gold.

Fine as period replated. The pistol retains 90% nickel finish with some finish loss on the left side of the frame and in the frame recesses. Much of the fading original case colors remain on the plunger. There is a moderate chip on the edge of the grip panel and it is loose. The markings are clear. The action is fine. The case is very fine with some minor wear and scuffs on the exterior.
