Manufactured circa 1864 to 1870. Blade front and V-notched hammer rear sights and manufactured without the extractor. The cylinder is marked "D.WILLIAMSON'S PATENT JANUARY 5, 1864". The top of the barrel is marked "MOORE'S PAT. FIREARMS CO. BROOKLYN, N.Y." There is a small hinged loading gate on the right side of the blue barrel ahead of the cylinder and an engraved leaf pattern on the lug with embellishments at the muzzle and cylinder. The blue cylinder has an engraved line along the front and rear edge. The silver plated frame has a scroll and leaf design.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The barrel and cylinder retain 85% period retailer applied bright blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with some minor dings on the lug. The frame has some scattered traces of original silver plating with the exposed brass having a mellow patina. The grips are fine with the exception of worn smooth edges and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically needs work as the action is locked up.
