Description:

1) Measuring 23 1/2 inches overall, with an 5 3/4 inch wide axe head, a 4 1/4 inch curved spike with a diamond cross section on the rear and an octagonal 3 1/2 inch spike on top. The head is fitted to the smooth hardwood shaft with a long metal collar. A lanyard ring is installed on the base. 2) Measuring 24 inches long and weighing in at 8 pounds, this mace is equipped with a 3 1/4 inch screw-profile spike atop a lobed iron striker head, with a brass accent between the head and shaft and a smooth grip with brass dragon head guard and lobed brass pommel. Rating Definition:

1) Fine, with a mixed gray patina overall, showing some light handling marks and spotting overall. The shaft is very good, with mild dents and varnish loss. 2) Fair, with a dark brown patina overall, showing mild pitting. The brass has an aged patina in the protected areas and is bright on the high points.
