This lot consist of a pair of "LONDON" marked percussion muff pistols in a partitioned case. The top of the frame has "LONDON" inlaid in gold which is surrounded by a zig zag engraved border. Most of the frame is covered in an attractive floral engraving with silver inlaid highlights. The folding trigger and fish hammer are also engraved with the floral pattern. A Liege ELG proof is stamped on the left side of the frame. The percussion bolster has a star burst engraving. Silver inlaid bands are featured on the Damascus barrel at the breech and muzzle. The smooth ebony grip has an ivory cap with a German silver cap compartment featuring a clamshell hinged cover. The back of the grip has an engraved silver diamond inlay. The walnut case is lined in purple velvet and has brass hardware. A brass plaque script engraved "G.A. Pabine".

Good as period refinished. The barrel retains 90% of the Damascus pattern with the balance a smooth gray patina. The frame and hammer retain 95% polished blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grip is very fine with some scattered minor handling marks and some chipping on the ivory cap. The engraving is crisp. Mechanically fine. The case is fine with a number of minor handling/storage marks, a crudely repaired side and high spot wear on the lining. One of the hinges is loose.
