Three British proofs are stamp ahead of the trigger and a floral scroll engraving is present behind the fish sculpted hammer. The right side of the frame is script marked "Richard's/Strand" and the left side is script marked "London". The frame has a border engraving. The frame and barrel are brass and the hammer and trigger guard are iron. A floral blossom is engraved on the trigger guard. Fitted with a smooth grip. Provenance: The William Ashby Collection

Good as converted to percussion. The brass has an untouched aged patina and the hammer and trigger guard have a dark mottled patina. The grip is fine with some minor pressure dents. Mechanically fine.
