Description:

1) Possibly Dutch mid 17th Century scarf sword, 38 inches overall, with some faint engraving on the 32 inch blade. The hilt is fitted with a pair of kidney-shaped guards with pierced-through decoration, 3 1/4 inch wide crossguard, a twisted brass strip wrapped grip and a fluted pommel. 2) Mid 17th Century cavalry sword, 36 1/2 inches long, with a 30 1/2 inch hollow ground blade, pierced dot decoration on the guards, cord wrap grip and a ball pommel with light engraving on the underside. Rating Definition:

1) Fine, with scattered pitting and some dings on the blade. The grip wrap may be a replacement. 2) Fine (As 1, with heavier blade chipping).
