Barrel lug is marked "B42". "Eagle/88" proofs are present with the right side of the slide showing only a firing proof. Visible late war zero-series serial numbers are matching. Late style hammer, ribbed grips and "jvd" and "P38/U" marked magazine without acceptance stamps.

Excellent. The pistol retains 95% plus original blue finish with the gripstrap a smooth brown patina. The grips are very fine with a series of minor handling marks on the right panel and a few minor handling marks overall.
