Assembled by CZ in 1946, the Cz46 (P38) pistol was composed mainly of Spreewerke P38 components, such as this example. Serial number "17" is stamped on the left side of the barrel lug, frame and slide with the slide serial number stamped ahead of the "cyq" code P38 marking. An "eagle/88" proof is stamped on the left side of the frame along with a CZ proof and German "eagle/88" proof. The left side of the trigger guard has the letter "E" and the Cz Rampant Lion. The "cyq" slide has the Cz applied letter "S". Fitted with ribbed grips. The magazine is unmarked.

Very fine. The pistol retains 99% blue finish showing some minor thinning. The grips are excellent with a minor dent on the right panel and a few minor handling marks overall. The action needs work, does not work in double action.
