Description:

Both daggers in this lot are equipped with darkened alloy hilt components, a twisted celluloid grip, silver wire portapee with matching acorn, similarly darkened sheath and a 2-strap belt hanger with silver wire, gray/green cloth backing, and oval buckles. 1) "Siegfried/Waffen" brand Ernst Pack & Son dagger, 14 5/8 inches overall with a 9 7/8 inch blade and white painted grip. 2) WKC dagger, 14 1/2 inches overall, with a 10 inch blade and orange grip.

Rating Definition:

1) Fine, with some mild handling marks on the otherwise excellent blade, dings on the edge, scuffs on the grips, and a small amount of fraying on the wire. 2) Very fine, with mild spotting on the otherwise excellent blade, fraying of the wire, flaking hilt finish and light handling marks. Both show some play in the hilt fittings.
