With a Springfield Armory Model 1905 bayonet dated 1909, a leather scabbard marked "R.I.A./1907/J.F.N." on the backside and a letter from well known authority David Condon stating that he owned the rifle for a few years and that it is all original.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, 97% original blue finish with some scattered minor wear, a few scattered minor scratches and some minor freckling. The stock is also excellent with some scattered minor scratches and scattered pressure dents. Most of the original case colors remain on the casehardened components. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is very fine with some discoloration and oxidation. The scabbard is good. One will look a long time to find a better pre-1910 U.S. Springfield Model 1903 Rifle!
