This example was manufactured between 1924 and 1933. The barrel is marked "S A/flaming bomb/3-30" behind the standard front sight with front sight cover and there are two drilled and tapped holes with filler screws behind the barrel band. The top of the receiver has the standard markings along with two drilled and tapped holes with filler screws and a fully adjustable Lyman rear peep sight. The bolt is electro penciled to match and is marked "NS" on the top flat of the bolt handle. Mounted on a walnut pistol grip "NB" type stock with finger grooves and a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine, 75% plus of the original blue finish remains with some high edge wear on the receiver, barrel band, muzzle and rear sight along with flaking and wear on the floor plate and some thinning on the barrel. The stock is fine with some scattered scratches and dings overall. Mechanically fine.
