Description:

About 18,000 of this model were produced for the U.S. Army with this one manufactured in 1911. These military revolvers saw heavy use and not many are left in good condition. The left side of the barrel is stamped "COLT D.A. 45" and the underside of the barrel is stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" along with "R.A.C.". The right side of the frame is stamped "R.A.C.". Fitted with a set of smooth walnut grips with "R.A.C." stamped on the butt.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, 90% plus original blue finish remains with scattered minor scratches, scattered minor dings, some minor freckling and some high edge wear. The grips are very good with a number of scratches, dings and chips. Mechanically excellent.
