This example was manufactured in 1944 and has the standard fixed low profile sights. The left side of the slide is marked "ITHACA GUN CO. INC./ITHACA, N.Y." with the right side blank. The barrel is stamped with a "P" on the left side of the lug and an "F" on the right side. The frame is marked "FJA" under the slide stop and with a "P" by the magazine release on the left side. "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "M 1911A1 US ARMY" are marked on the right side. Fitted with a pair of checkered brown plastic grips with reinforcing rings around the screws, a "K" inside a star mold mark and a "15" mold mark on the left grip and a "14" mold mark on the right grip. With a brown leather shoulder holster embossed "US" on the front and marked "U.S./BOYT" on the back.

Excellent with 98% original dark green parkerized finish remaining with some high edge wear, a slight takedown scratch and some scattered scratches. The grips are excellent with only minor marks. Mechanically excellent. Holster is very fine with some stains and scuffs.
