This is a beautiful matching pair of consecutively serial numbered 125th Anniversary Single Action Army revolvers that were manufactured in 1961 and subsequently embellished by Master Engraver Charles Weiss of Wadell, Arizona in 2006. Reportedly Weiss engraved 344 of these 125th Anniversary revolvers. In addition to the standard 125th Anniversary and factory markings, the revolvers have been floral scroll engraved on the barrel, frame, cylinder flats, back strap, trigger guard and hammer sides. On all but the hammer there is a matte background. The floral scroll engraving has been left in the white and has a very attractive gray appearance. The sides of the front sight and the top strap have a feather design. There is a single gold inlaid band around the barrel muzzle and two around the breech end. The rear of the cylinder has a feather design around it bordered by a gold inlaid band on each side and there is simple gold inlaid wire bordering on the lower portion of the frame sides. The left side of the front strap under the grip is signed "ENG C.L. WEISS 06". All blue finish with polished hammer sides, blade front and frame notch rear sights, and fitted with a one-piece nicely figured select walnut grip. The pair come in a Colt branded walnut case with wine colored fitted velvet lining.
