The rifle barrel is 30-06 and the 12 gauge shotgun barrels are choked full/modified with 3 inch chambers, with extractor. The scalloped box lock action is engraved with high relief game scenes of running buck deer in a wooded scene on the left side and an elk in a wooded scene on the right. The trigger guard, bottom of the action and the trigger guard plate are engraved with simple scroll designs and the trigger guard plate is marked with the Original Sauer & Sohns logo. The top of the left barrel is marked "COLT - SAUER" flanked by the circled Rampant Colt and Sauer logo/ MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY/BY J. P. SAUER & SOHN/12/70. .30-06 SPR" and the right side is marked "MOD. 3000/KRUPP - SPEZIAL LAUFSTAHL/COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.". Tang mounted barrel selector that raises the rib leaf sight when pushed forward to select the rifle barrel, double triggers with set forward trigger, Greener side safety and cocking indicators. Mounted with a checkered walnut beaver tail forearm and pistol grip stock with black plastic grip cap, a vented J.P. Sauer vented recoil pad and sling swivels. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches. Shipping box has a factory end label hand numbered to gun.

Excellent. Barrels retain 98% of original blue finish with some light spotting. Receiver has only the slightest handling marks. The wood is excellent with only the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Box is fair.
