Manufactered in West Germany. Barrel manufactured without sights, with the top of the receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounts. One piece high gloss stock with a checkered forearm and pistol grip with a rosewood forend tip and grip cap with the Rampant Colt on pistol grip, raised comb, cheekpiece, vented Colt Sauer recoil pad and sling swivels. Complete with factory box and shipping box both numbered to the gun. Colt discontinued this rifle in 1985.

Excellent. The rifle retains 98% of original blue finish with the bolt knob showing gray patina, some minor scratches and some mild pitting. The stock is also excellent with only the slightest handling marks. The safety is frozen in the fire position. The box is very good showing some minor wear.
