Description:

This is a functional, however non-firing replica of a German FG 42 selective fire battle rifle. Nazi Germany invented the FG 42 in 1942 and it was used in limited numbers until the end of the war. Finding an original is nearly impossible and a new production semi-automatic copy is still expensive. This example is marked "fzs/U/FG 42/00150" on top of the receiver. It has the spike bayonet, a folding bipod, flip up sights, detachable magazine, leather sling and box.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, 98% plus original blue finish with a few scattered minor scratches and wear marks. The stock set is also excellent with a few scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good.
