Description:

Fixed sights, with "1914" on the chamber and "DWM" on the toggle. The barrel extension has a set of three "crown/ letter" proofs next to the Imperial eagle firing proof on the right, with the firing proof repeated on the barrel and breechblock. A sear safety has been installed over the top of the sideplate, along with a deactivated magazine safety. The barrel is marked "Bo28", and matching full and partial numbers are present overall. With a pair of matching numbered, alloy base, nickel finished magazine, additionally marked "1" and "2", a "467" marked takedown tool, and an "Akah" marked Albrecht Kind holster, numbered "467" on the rear and ink stamped "Meister Als Orts Polizei Behorde/Halberstadt" (Master of Village Police, Halberstadt). Halberstadt is a small village Southwest of Berlin, and claims the distinction of hosting the oldest tapestries in Europe, in addition to the first documented pipe organ (map showing location of Halberstadt included).

Rating Definition:

Very fine as police reworked, with 95% of the blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, minor spotting, and mild edge wear. Grips are also very fine, with some mild dents and chips. The holster is very good, with some scuffing and cracks. Mechanically excellent.
