Description:

Produced by DWM expressly for the American market, only 3000 were factory chambered for 9mm. Blade front and notch rear sights, with the American Eagle on the chamber and DWM logo on the toggle. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, frame, takedown latch, sideplate, trigger and rear toggle, with "GERMANY" on the front of the frame and "GCM" under the sideplate. Fitted with straw colored small parts, checkered grips, and a wood based nickel magazine marked "Cal. 9m/m". With a Letter of authenticaltion-appraisal from noted expert Robert Simpson of Simpson LTD, who renders his opinion of the Luger and even attributes the "GCM" marking to Gale C. Morgan, who Simpson describes as "one of the best, for professional Luger restoration work."

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally refinished, showing 98% of the current blue, with minor edge wear and handling marks. The straw colors are bright and vivid. Grips are very good replacements, with a few dents on the crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
