Description:

Measuring 1 3/4 inches wide, 1 1/4 inches tall and just over a quarter inch thick, each holder in this set is constructed from solid ivory, with the paired "sig" runes of the Nazi Schutzstaffel on one side, and the monogram "ALH" on the reverse. As of this writing, "ALH" has not been identified. The set comes in a blue silk lined, black leatherette case with a silver Nazi Eagle on the lid and "1938" on the underside.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with a few minor handling marks and an attractive aged color, which highlights and emphasizes the natural grain. Case is very good, with separations at the corners and hinge.
