The pistol has the one line "ac45" slide marking and "Eagle/359" proofs are present. The visible "A" block serial numbers match. Note that the frame serial number is the only number with a capital "A" instead of the usual lower case letter. It is believed that the "a" dies were worn out in the area of the factory devoted to frame numbering and therefore a capital "A" was used. Left side of barrel lug has an asterisk mark. Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish showing some minor edge wear and some minor thinning on the front grip strap. The grips are also excellent with a few mild handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
