Description:

The slide has the one line "ac45" marking with an "Eagle/359" proof on the right side of the slide and left side of the barrel lug. The frame has an "Eagle/140" proof which was reserved for P38 parts manufactured by FN. Left side of the trigger guard is marked "M1", a marking that has been observed on FN frames. Slide and barrel lug are numbered to another gun (2883c, 3550c). Late style hammer has three wide, deep grooves. Magazine is marked "P.38v/ac" with an "Eagle/359" proof on the spine.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The pistol retains 97% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina. The grips are also excellent with a few mild handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
