This late production (late 1944-early 1945) commercial P38 pistol has the left side of the slide stamped with the Walther banner, two line factory legend and "Mod. P38." Single Commercial "Eagle/N" proofs appear on the right side of the slide, top of right slide rail, right side of the frame and right side of the barrel lug. The matching serial number is located on the right side of the frame, top of right slide rail and front of barrel lug. Fitted with a set of standard ribbed grips. The magazine is marked "P.38v/U" on the lower left side.

Very fine. The pistol retains 85% original blue finish with a smooth gray patina on the front grip strap and some scattered minor high edge wear. The grips are also very fine with a few mild handling marks. Action needs work as trigger must be manually set to the ready position after action is cycled.
