This is an example of an assembled Mauser byf/44 Code P38 without a serial number and an "ac" coded armorers replacement frame. The left side of the slide is marked "P.38" followed by "byf/44" and the right side has an "Eagle/WaA135" proof and a firing proof. The left side of the frame is stamped with an "Eagle/359" proof and "ac." The left side of the front sight blade is marked with the number "3". The barrel lug has an "Eagle/88" and "cyq" on the left side and an asterisks mark, "BD" followed by an asterisks mark and "1" on the right side. Fitted with ribbed grips. The "P38" marked magazine has "jvd" and an "Eagle/WaA706" proof on the spine.

Excellent. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with some loss at the muzzle and a mottled brown patina on the front gripstrap. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
