Blade front and tangent rear sights, with a set of three "eagle/359" proofs on the right side of the rear sight base, and an "eagle/37" next to a Death's Head, or Totenkopf, stamp on the left rear side. The receiver ring is marked "147/1939" on top, and "359" and "37" proofs on the right side. Floor plate is marked "crown/X" with matching numbers on the other metal components. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a steel buttplate numbered to the gun.

Very good, with 60% thinned original blue finish, showing mostly areas of gray and brown patina, bright edge wear and scattered spotting and handling marks. The stock is good, with numerous dents, dings and scuffs associated with military use. Mechanically excellent.
