Manufactured in 1940. Adjustable sights. Left side of barrel marked "+OFFICERS MODEL 38/+HEAVY BARREL+", with two line patent and address markings on the top. Checkered Colt medallion grips. With factory box numbered to gun.

Near new with very light handling marks and a light drag line. The box is fair with tape repairs and separated edges.
